Technically, Kanji is Chinese characters. The show mistakenly states that they are Japanese Characters. (68.5.92.32 07:29, November 10, 2009 (UTC))
Yes, Kanji are Chinese characters. However, they've been used in Japanese writing for centuries, along with Hiragana and Katakana. Several Kanji have been simplified and look drastically different than their Chinese counterparts. Others have no Chinese counterparts or a completely different meaning.
So it might not be 100% accurate, but perfectly excusable for Nicole to call them "Japanese" characters.—Preceding unsigned comment added by MichaelHeide (talk • contribs)
Does anyone else find it interesting that the Bryce/Keiko flash forward seems to be the most random? Everyone else seems to follow the normal course of events following an event like that. But with Bryce and Keiko the ONLY reason so far that I can see for them meeting how they did is that they saw themselves meet in their flash forward. Everyone else could have and likely would have had their flash forwards play out if they hadn't seen anything and everyone had just blacked out.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.236.163.53 (talk • contribs)
- That's not entirely true, I think. I mean, Dem and Zooey decided to get married on D-Day because she saw that in her flash. 98.26.169.157 05:16, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
